A 26-second video from viral video featuring a boy cycling alone on a road in the wee hours has gone viral on social media, as some believe it was a paranormal event. But the incident turned out to be a mundane case of a precocious child out on a lark.
The short clip shows the boy cycling along a junction, without the supervision of parents or guardians, at 3am on Wednesday. Penampang district police chief Deputy Superintendent Mohd Haris Ibrahim, when contacted, confirmed that the incident occurred at a junction leading to a village in Putatan.
Several villagers had come to Putatan police station informing about the boy they saw, cycling at the junction. The police officer who were on duty rushed to the scene and indeed found the boy there and the boy was brought back to the police station.
After that, the boy's mother came to the police station after realising her son had gone missing and she claimed her son is autistic.
