The Prime Minister of Malaysia today announced that the government will launch the National Digital Policy in the first quarter of 2021.
The Government also announced that the National Digital Policy will also give special focus to the development of 5G network systems. Previously, it was announced that 5G may be implemented around 2022 or 2023 to the public, and will focus more on the industry first.
As many are aware, the Movement Control Order has accelerated various digitization efforts - increasing usage rates, and their implementation in the business arena.
Let us all look forward to the beginning of 2021 to find out more about this National Digital Policy.
