JAKARTA - Indonesian President Joko Widodo or Jokowi finished receiving the second dose of Sinovac Covid-19 vaccine at 9.30 this morning (local time) at the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta.

"The procedure is the same as the first time injection. Do not feel any pain, "he said.

Jokowi received the first vaccine on January 13 and had a mild side effect of numbness in the injected arm.

However, he claimed that the side effects did not interfere with his daily activities.

"Even though we have received the vaccine, we all need to adhere to health protocols with full discipline," he said.
