Spatial audio is a feature so far supported on Apple, Samsung, and Sony devices. This 360-degree audio feature is interesting but so far the support is disappointing to just be a white elephant. But according to iPhonsoft site reports, Netflix has started spatial audio testing for AirPods Pro and AirPods Max.
The site cites staffing sources on Netflix who claim spatial audio will be supported on some selected content this spring. With spatial audio, the audio heard through audio accessories moves according to the orientation of the head. AirPods Pro and Max may be the earliest supported accessories due to the high number of users compared to other wireless audio accessories on the market.
