Sasha Saidin, the former member of local female group Elite, shared her experience receiving the Covid-19 vaccine.
The 44-year-old, who moved to Dubai to be with her financier husband Sirhan Wahab after tying the knot in Jan 2020, completed her second dose of China's Sinopharm vaccine on Jan 14.
"Alhamdulillah yesterday we completed our Sinopharm vaccine by taking the second dose exactly 21 days after having taken the first dose right here at the Emirates Field Hospital in UAE," she wrote on Instagram on Jan 15.
"We were told that this second dose is a booster which supplements the first dose in maintaining the efficacy rate. After taking the first dose, there were no fever or any allergies," recalled the singer, who is the older sister of Oh My English! actor Zain Saidin.
"However, with the second dose, upon returning home from the vaccine centre, we felt tired and sleepy but with a little nap, by evening time we were feeling fine again.
"So far we are both doing well and I am happy to say that we both already back to our normal daily routines today."
